Imperial Morocco loop
Classic 8–10 day route through the imperial cities.
Marrakech is Morocco's most storied imperial city — a walled medina of souks, riads and hidden gardens on the doorstep of the High Atlas. Most travellers base themselves inside the medina for atmosphere or in Guéliz and Hivernage for modern hotels and easier taxis.

The medina is walkable but tight — leave luggage at the riad and use petit taxis (agree the fare) for anything outside the walls. The airport is 15 minutes from most hotels.
Medina
Traditional riads steps from Jemaa el-Fnaa and the souks.
Guéliz
Modern boutiques, restaurants and easier road access.
Hivernage
Large gardens and international-brand hotels near the ramparts.
Palmeraie
Palm-grove resorts 15–20 minutes from the centre.
Marrakech is generally safe. Stay aware in the busy souks, agree taxi fares upfront and keep valuables in the riad safe.
Three nights covers the medina, gardens and one Atlas or desert day trip. Five nights lets you add Essaouira or a Sahara overnight.
Yes for souks, taxis and tips. Cards are accepted at hotels, most restaurants and larger shops in Guéliz.
